Instructor Raegan Earney

Raegan Earney

Raegan-Head-ShotSince 2005 Raegan has been Brian Mogg’s lead instructor at Keene’s Point as well as The Waldorf Astoria Golf Academy. While becoming a top instructor for juniors he has also developed the Brian Mogg Online Academy and become a V1 software swing analysis expert.

Raegan has worked with PGA & LPGA Tour Pro’s as well as collegiate and nationally ranked juniors. He has been seen on The Golf Channel, Golf Digest, ESPN magazine, and conducted and participated in many Fortune 500 corporate events and outings.

After working with Reagan for over two years I have seen a dramatic improvement in my ball-striking, trajectory and distance control. I am hitting it farther and straighter than ever. His teaching methods employ very useful “extreme feel” drills that quickly ingrain correct movement patterns. One of golf’s truly great teachers! – Randy Menton, Orlando

Before joining the Brian Mogg Golf Academy in 2005, Raegan spent over a decade as one of the most respected instructors at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy at Lake Nona and Champions Gate. Raegan and Brian met when they worked together in 1995 at DLGA.

In 1999 Raegan became the Director of IT for DLGA and David Leadbetter Enterprises overseeing all aspects of technology including daily operations, training aid development, and research and development focusing on golf swing mechanics and their correlations to performance. Additionally, he spearheaded for David a 5 DVD instructional video set and created the lesson process for computer aided “Self Video Analysis” which is still in stores today.

Growing up in Augusta, Georgia, Raegan accumulated three state championships before beginning college golf with both academic and athletic scholarships. A degree in Engineering as well as many years of tournament experience allows Raegan to convey the appropriate information whether you are a Tour Pro needing to consistently lose a shot each round, an avid golfer who wants to finally beat his friends, or a junior needing to build a swing based on proven fundamentals.

Raegan graduated from Southern College of Technology in 1989 with a BS Degree in Industrial Engineering, and a Minor in Management. He currently resides in Orlando, Florida, with his wife and two children.
